It looks like Sony can’t catch a break. First it was the PSN hacks that they are still in the process of fully sorting it out, secondly it was the hacking of their Greece-based online music serve and now it looks like even the phone sector of Sony isn’t safe from hackers either as it seems that the Canadian website for Sony Ericsson has been hacked. It seems that about 2,000 Canadian Eshop customers’s data has been extracted although the company claims that all password and credit card details have been encrypted so nothing major was taken.
The Eshop is currently offline and there’s no mention of when it will go back up online. Poor Sony, one problem after the other.
