SK Telecom the carrier from South Korea and the company that brought you the world’s first 1.5GHz dual-core “superphone” may very well win the permit to operate their services in Brazil. They are looking to expand their market and launch LTE-based mobile phone and broadband services in the Brazilian market which has been growing rather rapidly. However if they did they would be in competition with the country’s other carriers, namely Telefónica, America Movil and Portugal Telecom.
A rather interesting move, perhaps then we might see the carrier’s “superphone” reach the shores of South America.
