Sharp Introduces the Aquos Phone SH-12C 3D
Say hello to 3D cameras! James Cameron wannabes you’re in for a treat as Sharp has today released a new Android phone known as the Aquos Phone SH-12C 3D which will be available on Japan’s NTT DoCoMo network starting May 20th in both black and white colors.
The Aquos will be featuring a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor and packs a 4.2-imch qHD (540 x 960) glasses-free 3D screen, an 8-megapixel camera for 2D and 3D video + picture capturing, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM, WiFi, HSDPA 14Mpbs, Bluetooth and GPS.
As of now it is only available in Japan but perhaps a worldwide release or an alternate worldwide release will be coming soon? Currently there are only a couple of 3D-enabled smartphones at the moment, namely the HTC EVO 3D and the LG Optimus 3D therefore if the Sharp Aquos SH-12C 3D were to go worldwide it would provide some competition to the other manufacturers, plus not to mention Sharp has been known for their work on televisions and displays therefore it would be interesting to see how they would hold up against the competition.
