Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablets More Expensive In Europe?

According to the picture above, it seems that Amazon.de has priced the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 at 606.50 Euros which roughly converts to $852 for the pre-order. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which is priced at $499 for the 16GB WiFi only model, it does seem like a rather steep price.

To be fair the picture does not state whether or not this is the WiFi or WiFi + 3G version and it could be that Amazon.de might make some price adjustments accordingly in the future, but as of now our friends in Europe will either have to wait for the Galaxy Tab 8.9 to hit stores officially and perhaps see a lower price tag, or take the risk and spend 606.50 Euros.
