Nokia Oro Passes FCC
Good news! If the Nokia Oro really caught your eye the last time we reported about it, you are in luck because it has just passed the FCC meaning we should be seeing it hit the States soon. Guess you won’t need to be spending 800 Euros to get it imported. The frequencies utilized by the Nokia Oro are supposed by AT&T, Bell, Telus, Rogers, T-Mobile, Wind and Mobilicity but somehow I doubt you will be seeing this device as part of a contract plan.
In case you forgot, the Nokia Oro will feature a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. It will be running on the Symbian platform and will also feature a 8-megapixel camera with 720p video recording will also be part of the phone. Pricing when it comes to the US is still unknown at this point, but don’t expect it to be cheap. Availability is still unknown but if you’re a Nokia fan and you love bling, and the Symbian operating system is more than sufficient for your mobile needs, then stay tuned and we will keep you updated!
LG has been rather quiet about developing its very own mobile chipset design for some time already, where the first Nuclun SoC will soon be followed up by – surprise, surprise, the Nuclun 2. This is not the first time that the Nuclun 2 name was brought up, and up till now, there has been no devices that were released with Nuclun 2 at its heart, although that might change with the upcoming V10 successor if rumors prove to be correct.
In other words, the LG V10’s successor will most probably be released some time in the second half of the coming year, which means it will be some time before it ends up as a shipping product. It also remains to be seen whether the Nuclun 3 will hit the streets in the near future, but as with most other cases, patience is definitely called for.
So, there is a new Samsung smartphone that is about to be released – big surprise, that, and I say this with full a sarcasm. Still, those who want something that looks to hang out on the high end side of things in terms of design and form factor, and yet having a mid-range performer within, can always settle for the Samsung Galaxy A9.
The handset has already appeared on the FCC database, which means it has been approved, and listed as the Samsung Galaxy A9. With the green light given, it is but a matter of time before it hits the market.
