A little over 24 hours since the Motorola Droid X2 has been released and already it has been rooted. No surprises there as developers have been working rather quickly these days. It seems that the device has succumbed to Gingerbreak, that’s right, Gingerbreak so as not to be confused by the Android operating system Gingerbread. What this did was it granted root access to the leaked build of the Gingerbread update that has been floating around for the Droid X device. Good news for those who just purchased the device as the device is pretty much root-able right out of the box!
