Lenovo’s Honeycomb Tablet Available For Pre-Order?

Lenovo’s IdeaPad K1 is set to be released some time next month although when exactly it is unclear but it looks like the devices have started to pop up on online retail websites such as Buy.com and Krex. As of now it seems that Buy.com has pulled the item off their website but Krex still has it listed as “Out of Stock” and it comes attached with a rather high price of $510. For those wondering what they might be paying $510 for, the Lenovo IdeaPay K1 will be running on NVidia’s Tegra 2 processor and comes shipped with Anroid’s Honeycomb 3.0 with a 10.1-inch display, 32GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM and features 5MP rear/2MP front facing cameras. There is also a slot for microSD memory expansion.

It will also feature Lenovo’s custom UI over the stock Android and physically people have called it as a chubby version of the iPad, which I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Either way for $510 it is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
