Is There A Need To Rush The iPhone 5?
With the iPhone 4 selling like hotcakes and with the latest release of the long-awaited white version of the iPhone 4 it doesn’t look like Apple is ready to get rid of their golden goose that quickly, and who can blame them?
Apple’s iPhones past and present have been outselling Android devices unit for unit, although not collectively, but considering they’re just one company and they’re taking on the entire Android competition who consists of players such as Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and Motorola they have somehow managed to keep their head well above water.
So according to Michael Nace at the iPhone 5 News Blog, why the rush to release the iPhone 5 when a rather impressive 77% of iPhone 4 sales actually came from upgrades? With the Apple WWDC coming up mid year and still no hints that there might be a possible announcement of the iPhone 5, apart from the possibility of the iOS 5, coupled with such big sales figures and an impressive performance it doesn’t look like the iPhone 5 will be coming out any time soon, or at the very earliest some time later this year.
