iChromy, The Google Chrome Clone For The iPad

You got to admit that this is plays a rather uncanny resemblance to Google’s Chrome browser, except that this is called the iChromy which is a Google Chrome clone designed for the iPad, and by all accounts they did a pretty good job imitating the browser’s look and feel.

The browser, much like its desktop counterpart featured tabbed browsing and it allows the address bar to be doubled as a search engine, allowing you to search Google through the address bar. It seems that the app is still in its early stages but it basically allows you to do basic functions, and best of all its free so you can’t really complain.

If you can’t live without your Chrome browser then perhaps this might very well tide you over until then. Could this turn out to be the next best thing, or perhaps just a novelty for Chrome fans, or maybe a serious competitor to the Opera Mini 6 browser? Only time will tell, until then stay tuned, perhaps there will be updates that add more features and increase the general performance of this app.
