HTC Flyer Now On Sale In Europe

I guess Friday the 13th is as good as any other day to launch tablets. The HTC  Flyer 3G and Wi-Fi enabled versions are out today in retail stores in 14 European countries and online in another 16. While the 3G + WiFi version is already available it looks like those who want the WiFi only version will still have to wait but it is availabe for pre-orders.

In case you forgot what the HTC Flyer is about, the device is running on a 1.5GHz processor and sports a 7″ LCD display at 1024×600 pixels. It also comes with 1GB of RAM and 32GB worth of storage for the 3G version and 16GB for the Wi-Fi-only model. It also features a 5mp camera with 720p HD video recording and a 1.3mp video-call camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, HSPA and a microSD card slot. The HTC Flyer runs Android v2.4 Gingerbread with the latest HTC Sense 3.0 on top of it.

A reminder for those not in the UK – the HTC Flyer’s Scribe stylus will not be included in the box so if you want to get your hands on the Scribe stylus you would have to purchase it separately which will be retailing at £47.99.
