The HP TouchPad will be the company’s debut consumer tablet and it is expected to be launched come June 1st. There have been stores such as Staples, BestBuy and Amazon.com who have been preparing product pages for the tablet although there seems to be no pre-order available just yet. Pricing for the tablets have been tagged at $499 and $599 for the 16GB and 32GB WiFi respectively.
For those interested about the specs for the tablet, it will be 9.7-inches featuring a 768 x 1024 display resolution while running on HP’s operating system webOS 3.0 and powered by a dual core, Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8060, 1200 MHz processor and has a 1.3MP camera that also supports video calling.
