HBO Go Thinks Outside The Box

A little over a week since the HBO Go app has been launched for iOS and Android devices and it has already been download a million times which is quite a staggering figure. AT&T, Dish, Verizon, and DirecTV customers, among others, can access the free HBO Go. Time Warner Cable customers are not allowed to sign up which is a bit odd since HBO is a Time Warner-owned company.

The success of HBO Go has caused the network to think outside the box by offering HBO Go users an added advantage, for example after the next Game of Thrones episode is aired on the 22^nd of May, HBO Go users will have the benefit of seeing the next episode the next day rather than have to wait an entire week, which is a great idea since HBO has produced a couple of excellent shows, something its competitors such as Netflix will have a hard time trying to keep up with.
