Google Music 3.0 Leaked for Android

It was only yesterday when Google Music was announced but already it has been ripped and is now available for download. XDA developer pacoforet has just released Google Music 3.0 APK that has been confirmed as working on devices upgraded to Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread.

The app allows you to listen to songs stored on your device as well as allow you to stream music from the cloud service. The great thing about the cloud service is that it allows any Android device whether it be phone or tablet to connect to your cloud and stream the music you have stored there, rather than transferring songs to every single device that you own.

While it does seem that Google Music might be plagued by some problems due to the lack of cooperating from the major labels, for those who are interested in checking out the app anyway, Ali Waqas provided some step by step on how to install the app onto your device:

• The first step is to download the APK file from here and save it to your desktop.
• Once done, connect your phone to the computer, mount SD card and copy the downloaded APK to SD card root.
• Now download Astro File Manager from Market and install it on your phone.
• After the file manager is installed, launch the app and follow onscreen instructions to install the APK file.

Google claims that the app should work on all phones running at least Froyo but so far there have been no confirmations for operating systems below 2.3.4.
