Due to some corporate synch issues that some Droid Pro and Droid 2 Global users were having, they decided to hit up the forums for some support and thanks to reply of a Motorola employee, it looks like Droid X, Droid Pro and Droid 2 users will be receiving Android’s Gingerbread update soon. Perhaps they’re still waiting on users to test and give feedback on the Droid X Project that was mentioned recently, which many have suspected was probably a Gingerbread update.
Word has it that most of the Gingerbread updates are already available to roll out and they’re just currently awaiting Verizon’s approval to push them out. Either way Motorola Droid X, Pro and 2 users should be happy to know that Gingerbread is somewhere in sight and it’s just a matter of time. A little patience goes a long way.
