DoCoMo’s Palette UI For Android

If there was one thing I like about Android it would be how customizable your UI could be and how different manufacturers try to differentiate themselves with their different UI’s. When it comes to eye candy you can count on me to be a fan. So Motorola has jumped on board the bandwagon with their Motoblur UI and Samsung’s TouchWhiz UI and I guess in the end it really just boils down to personal preference, with some people preferring something more minimalist while others wanting as much information displayed as possible.

Now it looks like carriers have decided to jump aboard the Android UI bandwagon as well, such as NTT DoCoMo’s Palette UI which is designed to simplify and enhance the ease of use. What makes Palette UI rather unique is its handy app drawer that can group apps into categories and help you make sort out the many apps that you have installed on your device.

The Palette UI will be available cross platform on devices such as NEC Media and Samsung’s Galaxy S 2. If you want to see the Palette UI in action just click here for the video.
