So Microsoft has unveiled new partners for their latest update to Windows Phone 7 and among that list includes Samsung, HTC, LG, Nokia, Acer, Fujitsu and ZTE, but curiously enough Dell was not mentioned which is strange as the company had only recently launched their Dell Venue Pro in the UK, but weren’t around for the conference. The Dell Venue Pro was plagued with problems when it was first launched and has not really taken off like they had originally expected.
A Microsoft representative later told Engadget that Dell was not ready to implement Mango in their devices just yet, perhaps lack of hardware support available or perhaps Dell is instead focusing on their enterprise sector more than their consumers at the moment. Either way I guess we will not be seeing any Windows Phone 7 Mango devices from Dell just yet.
