AT&T rep says no new iPhone in June/July

Well, it’s not like we haven’t heard this rumor before but there have been reports claiming that an AT&T customer care representative saying that the next generation iPhone will miss the annual early summer time frame. Apple has consistently launched a new iPhone around the same time for the past few years, but this year we’ve been hearing about the phone missing that window.

According to the source, Apple informed AT&T that the phone won’t be arriving in June or July but will be arriving in the future. Whether or not the future is this year or the next is still yet to be decided. Until then we’ll just keep our eyes peeled and our ears open. Previous stories have pegged the iPhone 5 with a September launch, but as usual with all rumors – they are best taken with a pinch of salt. June/July isn’t too far away. We’ll know the truth by then.
