Android’s fragmentation meant that depending on your carrier and phone manufacturer you could be getting the same operating system update but at totally different times, sometimes months apart. However if you have gotten your hands on ASUS’s Transformer or Acer’s Iconia Tab tablets then do not worry as it has been reported that the two manufacturers will be delivering Android’s Honeycomb 3.1 updates some time in June, and as we are a little more than halfway through May, that means we will only have to wait a couple more weeks until the update hits us!
Some of the improvements in Honeycomb 3.1 are resizable widgets, USB host support and improved performance. Keep an eye out for those updates or stay tuned as we will inform you when the updates become official and available.
