ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Gets Android Honeycomb 3.1 Update

More good news for UK residents as it looks like starting tomorrow you should be receiving your ASUS Eee Pad Transformer’s Android Honeycomb 3.1 update. It will be made available over-the-air (OTA) so you can download and install it while on the go. The update will be bringing in enhancements in the user interface such as more advanced widgets and a new multitask switcher.

The tablet will also be reportedly more stable after the update and the latest version of the Android Honeycomb will also include a docking station firmware update that will lead to improvement in typing speed, mouse tracking, and USB compatibility.
