ASUS Eee Pad Slider’s Retail Details May 30th

With the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer selling like crazy can we expect the same amount of buying frenzy from it’s sibling the ASUS Eee Pad Slider? In terms of specs it’s almost identical to the Transformer, except in this case the keyboard will be attached to the tablet and can be slid out. Its retail details are said to be revealed come May 30th so hang in there and prepare to start your pre-orders.

Pricing is still unknown but last we heard it was priced at $499 although that was just speculation, so here’s hoping it will retail much cheaper or at least priced similarly to the Transformer. In case you forgot, the Slider will be running on Android’s Honeycomb 3.1, sport 1GB of RAM, feature a 1.2/5MP cameras, mini HDMI, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, mini-USB port and is powered by a 6 hour battery.
