Samsung Electronics has released its fair share of Android-powered devices, where among the more notable ones would be the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Galaxy S and Galaxy Ace (otherwise known as the Gio, Fit or mini depending on which part of the world you live in) – letting users experience enhanced performance and an improved user interface in the process while keeping up to date with the latest and greatest in the Android operating system environment.

Samsung’s range of smartphones that feature 1GHz processors are more than capable of working in tandem with the latest Android OS to deliver an intuitive, immersive and integrated mobile experience. Among the features available in the new update would include faster performance, upgraded usability for faster access and control, alongside improved copy-and-paste functionality.

The Android 2.3 update will arrive in the Samsung Galaxy S for folks living in the UK and Nordic countries from the middle of this month onwards, while rolling out gradually to markets such as North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East Asia, Africa and the rest of the world. Expect to get the update via Kies, Samsung’s very own device management software. [Press Release]
