Windows Phone 7 update ruins graphics for HTC phones?

Apparently the days of Microsoft Windows Phone 7 having problems with the updates are far from over. It has been reported by quite a number of users online that installing the NoDo update or HTC’s own firmware update on HTC WP7 phones ruins the graphics of the phone. Highly detailed, full color images are turned into flattened pictures with less colors and detail. What used to be smooth gradients turn into banded colors and blotches. Nobody knows for sure why the problem is caused by the update, but one thing is for sure – it’s happening to quite a number of people. There hasn’t been any official word from HTC or Microsoft about the issue, so stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted.
