Jailbreaking is a pretty touchy subject to bring up with most companies, especially Apple, who vehemently upholds the integrity and strict policies that guard iOS. But while Apple is protective of their own baby, it appears that other companies can choose to ignore the issue, or embrace it for their own purposes. One such company is Toyota. The car manufacturer recently released a theme for the iPhone – meant to run on jailbroken iPhones. It takes advantage of a jailbroken iPhone to modify the phone’s icons, wallpaper, and even the phone’s unlock slider – to advertise their 2011 Scion. A bold move for such a large company though it’s yet to be seen if other companies will follow suit or dismisses their actions. Do you think the Jailbroken community deserves the support from large companies like Toyota, and the public? The Toyota Scion 2011 theme is now available for download from Cydia.
