Three UK Samsung Galaxy S Gingerbread update arriving in a fortnight

Samsung Galaxy S is one of the champion Android devices and though the smartphone is now an older generation model, it still deserves to be respected with timely updates. The Galaxy S is slated to receive the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update worldwide later this month and it seems that the Three UK Galaxy S owners will be the first ones to get lucky. Said owners will start receiving the Android Gingerbread update anytime within the next couple of weeks. As far as the rest of the world is concerned, the update should come sometime this month, though a specific time-frame is yet to be known.
