It’s finally here. The WiFi-only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab is finally available for purchase. For folks who were looking forward to getting their hands on this 7″ Android tablet but didn’t want to be tied down to a carrier or even pay for a data plan, the WiFi-only Galaxy Tab should be right up your alley. Take the Galaxy Tab, minus the 3G and slash the price to $349.99 and basically that’s what you get. But is it too late? There have been so many new tablets introduced in the market since then, and the Tab runs on outdated Android 2.2 that’s not even optimized for tablets. And let’s not forget the slew of Honeycomb tablets that are launching this year (especially the successors to the Galaxy Tab). How many of you will be picking this up now that it’s available? Read our Galaxy Tab review if you haven’t yet, and head here if you’d like to purchase the tablet.
