The game has recorded 10 million downloads with in 10 days of its release which is pretty indicative of the second edition also being a success story. Angry Birds Rio includes characters from the movie Rio which is yet to be released. The tie-up with movie will help Rovio create and even bigger awareness about the game which is already more popular in Google Trends than titles like CityVille, FarmVille or Mickey Mouse.
