Opera Software has just announced a new milestone – the Opera Mini browser for mobile phones has now reached 100 million monthly users. The web browser designed to surf websites on all mobile phones (including lower-end feature phones) has established itself as the most used web browser in the market. While Opera may not be a dominating force in the desktop scene, its early establishment in the less crowded mobile world has led to its success. Opera Mini now serves out 2 billion daily page views – double the amount from July last year. The browser’s impressive growth spurt can only mean better things to come in the future.
