WP7 Based Nokia Phones Not to Arrive Before 2012

Nokia and Microsoft are allies for sure, but as per Nokia’s Indian MD D. Shivkumar, WP7 based Nokia phones will only be ready by 2012. He mentioned that all Nokia phones to feature WP7 in future will not sport the current generation WP7 OS. Instead, Nokia WP7 devices to arrive in 2012 will run Mango, which is the next version of WP7 platform. Mango might just be the reason for this year-long delay as the upgrade is expected to be ready in 2012. All this implies that we will see new Nokia devices in the market in 2011, but for now the Finnish giant admirers will have to be content with various versions of the Symbian Platform.
