Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Hits UK on March 31 for £500 Unlocked

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is one of a kind for many good reasons. It is an out and out gaming smartphone which features the latest Android version and hence it is a very potent smartphone as well. The good news is that we will not have to guess its price tag anymore as its UK availability and pricing has finally been confirmed. Xperia Play will hit UK retail chains on March 31 and all major UK carriers will offer this device. As far as the pricing is concerned, it will cost $800 (£500) for the unlocked version. Also, Xperia Play will come pre-loaded with six gaming titles which include- Bruce Lee Dragon Warriors, Crash Bandicoot, Fifa 10, Star Battalion, Tetris and The Sims 3. For those who despise all of these six titles, there will be 50 more on offer via PlayStation Suite at the time of the launch. The pricing of this PlayStation-certified phone appears a tad on the higher side, but that price will surely come down when the Xperia Play makes it to the US shores.
