Rooted Motorola Xoom Android tablets won’t get LTE?

Bad news for those of you who rooted your Motorola Xoom tablets and plan to get the 4G LTE upgrade in the future. According to some reports online, Motorola won’t be giving you the 4G LTE update if your tablet is rooted and customized with unofficial ROMs and hacks. This piece of news comes after it was made known that the Android tablet would have an unlockable bootloader. Talk about contradictory. If these reports turn out to be true, it looks like rooted Xoom users will be in a dilemma (assuming they want the 4G LTE upgrade). How important is having 4G on a tablet for you, and if Motorola does deny you the 4G upgrade because your tablet is rooted, is it a deal breaker?
