Orange UK releases LG Optimus Me
Android powered handsets are loved the world over and the admiration for these Google OS running devices is growing by the day. UK is welcoming its newest Android member dubbed the LG Optimus Me which has been released by Orange UK. Optimus Me does not belong to the top bracket, but it still has an impressive feature set to draw in buyers. It comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen and is equipped with a quad-band GSM radio on the 850/900/1800/1900MHz bands with 3G support on the 900/2100MHz bands. Other attractions include Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, GPS and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. As far as the Android version is concerned, LG Optimus Me will run Android 2.2 (which now happens to be the most popular Android OS) which will be upgraded to version 2.3 in the future. Orange UK will offer this device for free on contract with a minimum subscription starting at 15.32GBP per month.
