Folks who’ve been looking forward to Gingerbread (Android 2.3) on your Motorola Droid phones, you’re in luck. The official Gingerbread update for the Droid 2 and Droid X have found their way online and have been made available to the public. Because this is a leaked build, it’s not going to be a walk in the park to update your device, but from reports that we’ve been reading so far – the update makes a big difference to the phone. So if you can’t wait, head over here if you own a Droid 2 and here if you own a Droid X. For those of you who are less adventurous, stay tuned for the official rollout – it shouldn’t take too long now.
