Nokia Astound announced for T-Mobile

We’ve previously mentioned that the Nokia C7/Tiger would be showing up on T-Mobile’s network sometime this year, well at the CTIA event, Nokia has finally made it official. This time, the name Tiger has been dropped and the phone is now officially known as the Nokia Astound. It will be arriving on T-Mobile’s network on April 6, which is just a few weeks away. The Astound will have the same specs as the C7 – a 3.5″ AMOLED display, 8 megapixel rear camera, VGA front facing camera, 256 MB of RAM, accelerometer, compass and of course Symbian^3. The phone won’t break the bank at $80 after a $50 mail-in rebate and 2-year contract. Any takers?
