We all know that Microsoft has been pretty tight-lipped especially when it comes to numbers concerning Windows Phone 7, well the Redmond giant, Microsoft, has recently chosen to unveil some sales figures on the internet. Here are the more interesting achievements: 1.5 million downloads for the developer kit, 11,500 apps available for download, 7,500 of those apps require payment, 1,100 are funded by ads, Consumers download 12 apps a month, and more. After being treated with silence and skepticism most of the time, it’s finally great to see Microsoft pushing their own device.
