LinkendIn partners with Snaptu to develop Application for Feature Phones
The world is going crazy about smartphones, but almost 80% of the phones being used worldwide still happen to be feature phones. This is the reason why the world’s most popular professional social networking base-LinkedIn is keen to develop an application catering to feature phones. LinkedIn is on the move outside the US as well and there is a huge number of users who look to use LinkedIn via their mobile devices. Bearing all this mind, LinkedIn has decided to team-up with Snaptu to develop a highly usable application for the feature phones. This feature rich application will be usable over 2,500 device models which will include the likes of Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and LG. Facebook teamed up with Snaptu to develop its application for feature phones and the results were pleasing. LinkedIn will also be hoping to reap benefits from its partnership with Snaptu.
