The successor to the EVO 4G has finally been announced, and is it a worthy one? Judging from its specs alone, it sure looks like it. The EVO 3D has finally been announced by Sprint, after countless rumors, leaks and speculations, and the phone is as every bit powerful as mentioned in the rumors. The HTC EVO 3D will be arriving this summer on Sprint’s CDMA network and will feature: Android 2.3 on a glasses-free 3D 4.3″ qHD (960 x 540) display and a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, dual 5 megapixel cameras for capturing 3D pictures and videos or regular HD videos, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 3G/4G mobile hotspot capability, 4GB of internal storage, microSD slot (supports up to 32GB), WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 1730mAh Lithium-ion battery. It also supports Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network, and comes pre-loaded with Blockbuster On Demand for you to make full use of your 4G connectivity. No prices have been announced yet, but stay tuned.
