iPhone owners who purchased a Google TV must’ve been disappointed when they discovered that the TV Remote app was only available for Android devices. Well, good news has arrived. Google has recently released the Google TV Remote app for all iOS devices (the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad running on iOS 3.0 or higher). The app brings the same functionality to the iOS that Android users have had access too since last year – the ability to switch channels, set up the DVR, control the mouse pointer and more. It’s good to see Google not limiting support for their TV to just Android phones because you can be pretty sure Apple won’t be releasing an iOS remote for Android phones in the near future.
