Google Instant Previews arrive on mobiles

Google’s Instant Preview feature that was made available on desktop browsers last year has finally made the transition to the small screen and is now available on your smartphone. If you use Android 2.2 and above or iOS 4.0 and above, all you have to do is head over to Google on your web browser. Search like you normally would, and in the results page you’ll see a little magnifying glass icon next to each entry. A tap on the icon will bring up a window that gives you a thumbnail preview of each website that is on the current results page. A great way to save time and bandwidth since you won’t have to go to each page individually to make sure you’ve got the right site. Hit the break to watch a demo of how it works:
