Chinese electronics manufacturer ZTE has announced its plans to open a carrier-oriented cloud-based app store at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. This store will allow wireless carriers to manage their own-branded delivery services and content and can be configured to work on PCs and tablets. The new app store will be dubbed the iMarket, though you can guess that the folks over at Apple might not to too happy to hear another company use the i-Moniker. While only time will tell if this app store will be a success or not, we’ll be at next week’s Mobile World Congress, so stay tuned!
