Bad news for Windows Phone 7 users who are impatient to get the copy and paste functionality on their phones. Word is going around that the NoDo (apparently “No Donuts”) update, that was supposed to bring that functionality around early February, has been delayed. The latest whispers hint that the update will only arrive in early March, with the 8th of March touted as the possible date. Of course, delays aren’t desirable, but hopefully it means that when the update rolls out, there won’t be any issues with it. Some folks claim that carriers are the cause behind the delay, as they required last-minute changes that needed Microsoft to provide new ROMs, though there isn’t any official confirmation to this. It’s been said that Microsoft will be explaining the delay at the upcoming Mobile World Congress, so it doesn’t seem like we’ll have to wait too much longer to get to the bottom of this.
