Verizon ThunderBolt still nowhere in sight

Verizon has just posted an update on their Facebook page to address the issue of the ThunderBolt’s delay. In case you didn’t know, the ThunderBolt, by HTC will be Verizon’s first 4G LTE Android phone. It was announced at the same time as the Motorola Xoom Android tablet, but while the tablet came out last week, this phone is still nowhere to be seen. But according to Verizon, the delay has been due to them wanting to release a “flawless” 4G LTE phone. Here’s what they said on the FaceBook page:

Hey fans, we appreciate all the excitement about the anticipated launch of the ThunderBolt by HTC. We’re excited too! Verizon 4G LTE is America’s fastest, most advanced 4G network & we want to ensure the advanced technology behind our first 4G LTE phone is flawless. We will announce its release date as soon as it is confirmed. Thanks for your support & patience while we work to bring you the ThunderBolt by HTC.

Can they really release a flawless phone? Hopefully we’ll find out sooner than later.
