This is probably going to be bad news for jailbreaking fans out there, but word is going around that UK carrier Three has begun to block Cydia’s server on their 3G network, and the situation has also been confirmed to be the same on Three Ireland. Do you think that Three blocked Cydia due to its own internal policies or due to some form of external pressure? If you’ve no plans to jailbreak your iPhone, then this won’t be any issue for you, but it’s definitely sad news if you always use Cydia. The good news is that Cydia will still work over Wi-Fi, as you’re only blocked when using the 3G network, but it’ll likely become a sore point for some folks.
