Apple and News Corp have officially unveiled their upcoming iPad newspaper, The Daily, at a press event today. Available starting today, this iPad app is an interactive newspaper that is constantly updated throughout the day, whenever there is breaking news to be reported of course. With a team of dedicated writers handling the news updates, the Daily features a fancy magazine-like reading interface, 360-degree photos, professional voiceover for content as well as social network integration, consumers are expected to get their daily dosage of news on a whole new level. With articles content a whole variety of content from world news to app reviews, expect something for (almost) everyone. The Daily will go for $0.99 a week or $39.99 a year, but for those interested in giving it a shot, the first two weeks of subscription will be free, thanks to Verizon.
