Telus begins to unlock its devices from Feb 15th for a fee

Word is out that from February 15^th, Telus Canada will be offering SIM unlocking options for almost all of its handsets and devices. In order to qualify, you’ll need to be an active post-paid customer with an account that has been active for a minimum of 90 days. Telus will charge $50 for the unlock code and will unlock both iDEN and GSM devices. Not too bad a deal if you’re looking for a hassle-free way to unlock your phone.
