You may or may not have noticed, but T-Mobile has modified its Early Termination Fee (ETF) policy. With the new policy, subscribers are no longer allowed to cancel their service without incurring an ETF when moving out of a T-Mobile coverage area or overseas, though the good news is that this new policy won’t affect customers who cancelled the service without paying an ETF before February 8th. If you’re in the military, the good news is that this new policy change doesn’t apply to customers who are moving overseas due to military deployment.
