The folks over at Android and Me have reason to believe that HTC will be launching a dual-core Android smartphone on T-Mobile’s network in a few months time. According to their reliable source, HTC has a phone codenamed Pyramid in the works. It packs a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor (MSM8260), 4.3″ qHD display, and supports T-Mobile’s HSPA+ networks. Other than that there isn’t any other information on the device. The phone is rumored to drop in May 2011, so we might find out more at the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) event in March, if we’re lucky – at the Mobile World Congress in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more details. It’s about time T-Mobile hopped on the dual-core bandwagon!
