The Optimus V has already been on sale for some time now but it hasn’t been officially announced by LG or Virgin Mobile until today. LG has been rebranding their Optimus One Android phone for different carriers all over America, just like Samsung did with their Galaxy S phone. While the phones come with Android 2.2, let’s hope they don’t follow Sammy’s footsteps in delivering the Android 2.3 updates late. The LG Optimus One is a mid-range Android phone that packs a 600MHz processor, a 3.2″ touchscreen display (320 x 480), a 3.2 megapixel camera, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. The Optimus V will be available on sale at Radio Shack stores and Virgin Mobile’s online store for $150.
