We’ve all heard of (or been involved in) stories of cell phones being dropped and damaged. Now a concept design dubbed the LG EXO cell phone has surfaced and it gets its inspiration from the human skeleton, and uses an exoskeleton outer surface to protect the phone within. The exoskeleton is made from highly durable polymers and is also relatively shock resistant. Beneath all that protection, it houses some fancy hardware such as a 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel wide-angle camera and a high-power lithium-ion battery, not to mention a flexible 3.8-inch OLED display with a curved structure, which is designed to prevent scratches and breakages.
