iPad 2 might not arrive so soon

Despite the leaks of the rumored iPad 2 screen, it looks like we might not be hearing any official announcement for the upcoming iPad 2 anytime soon. A new advertisement from the Apple Store seems to suggest that the iPad will be sticking around for awhile – at least until the end of February or March. Apple has been sending out emails advertising their iPads as the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day. This advertising move shows that Apple still believes that there still is life in the iOS tablet which turns one year old in April (the expected date for the next iPad). However, it could just be a cruel marketing tactic to clear out all the old iPad stock before the arrival of the new models. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Anybody buying an iPad for your Valentine this year?
