Google Music for Android to be announced tomorrow
Google’s Android-themed event that is scheduled to happen tomorrow might have more than Honeycomb (Android 3.0) in store for us. The latest rumors online suggest that Google will be unveiling two more Android-related services at the event as well. First up is the web-based Android Market that is supposed to rival Apple’s iTunes App Store website, and secondly we could be introduced to the could-based Google Music service that has been in the works for quite some time now. According to a report from BusinessWeek, Google has managed to secure rights from at least 4 major music labels, so when (and if) this service launches; we should have a huge catalog of streaming music to listen to. Google has been working really hard at pushing Android, and if they plan to dominate the mobile world with it, they’ve got to step up their game and these new features are definitely a step in the right direction. Stay tuned for more details tomorrow.
